With such wonderful indigenous animals in our local area and wild animals a stones throw away in Longleat, we are always inspired by their beauty.
Here's our zoomed in paintings of different birds and animals. Can you recognise what they are? We entered the paintings in the annual Corsley Art Show for the community to enjoy.
Goldsworthy Inspired Sculptures
We explored the work of sculptor Andy Goldsworthy, appreciating how he used natural materials in their environment to create beautiful shapes and patterns.
We created these Goldsworthy inspired sculptures in our Secret Garden using the natural flora we found there. Photographing them captured them forever, as within a few weeks they naturally withered.
We are so fortunate to have such beautiful landscapes and landmarks in our local area. We created these paintings of Stonehenge, Westbury White Horse, Stourhead, Bowood and Silbury Hill. Our partner schools enjoyed having copies of these to display in their schools in India.
We also have some beautiful scenery in our own village - can you recognise the Bath Arms and Mill Pond?
